Colm qualified with honours from University College Dublin Medicine in 2003 and completed his specialist training in General Practice from the Trinity GP scheme in 2010. He spent time in Australia before returning home to complete his GP training. He also attained membership exams of the Royal College of Physicians in Ireland (MRCPI), a Diploma in Dermatology at UCD and a Certificate in Diabetes with the ICGP. He completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Education at the National University of Ireland, Galway in 2014 and has worked as a clinical tutor for undergraduates at The Royal College Of Surgeons Medical School in Dublin and as a GP tutor for undergraduates of UCD. He has worked in a busy group GP practice in Gorey since 2012. He lives in Gorey with his wife and 3 children.
